This is a racing web site and little about Jeff is not closely aligned with motorsports. Indeed he was born into a family with a huge racing legacy but Jeff was too young to ever see his father compete.
Indeed Jeff’s first competitive activities were aimed at taming huge waves, not race cars or tracks. Even at high school age he began traveling the world competing on the World Surfing Championship Tour. That’s a more typical attraction to a California teenager being raised in Grover Beach, California. Even when not competing he was still traveling and surfing in far away place such as Peru, Hawaii and all the top mainland surfing hot spots.
When he did finally begin his quest for motorsports he also met a youthful and energetic Suzanne Capitain, and he was smitten. Jeff and Suzanne were married in 1995 and he gained a life long partner for all his ventures, on and off the track. In the next few years they both followed opportunities and lived in San Rafael, CA, San Jose, and Las Vegas before settling in Lake Havasu City, AZ where they currently reside.
They are blessed with three beautiful children; Spencer (6), already a karter, Ashley (4) and Dylan (2).
Jeff still returns to the surf on occasion but his time is more than filled with business activities, church and a home filled with active children.
